Amazing International Bike Tours You Need to Check Out
Summer is here and that means its time for a vacation! Whether you’re planning on going to a new city or traveling to a well known town, bike and brew tours are one of the best ways to explore. While we’ve given you a list of some great tours in the U.S. be sure to also check out a few of our favorite international ones as well!
Royal London Half-Day Bike Tour - London
London’s 4-hour bike tour is one of the best ways to explore the heart of the city. Guided by a London expert, the tour is full of fun facts, trivia and history about the city of London and stops at Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben before ending at a traditional English pub. The cruiser bikes are included and the tour is great for riders of any skill level.
Italian Passion – Milan and Rome, Italy
While Italy may be best known for its pasta and wine, they also have a great variety of beers and breweries as well. While not a typical beer tour, BeerCycling’s “Italian Passion” bike tours last anywhere from 5 to 8 days and include hotel, breakfast, lunch and, of course, beer. Each day the rides last around half an hour and include a brewery visit each day. Not only do you get to a taste of the culture, you get to spend the week outside in Italy!
Flanders Classic Adventure – Belgium
Enjoy a taste of Belgium by spending your first night in a 15th century brewery and distillery and each additional day enjoying some of the city’s best local beer and food. This bike tour lasts 5 days across Belgium, with each day’s ride about 30 miles. While the path is flat and easy enough for any level of rider, the distances are something to definitely prepare for. Each day is planned in advance and visits multiple breweries, however there is still plenty of free time for exploring the city on your own as well.
